Location:
From the town of Houston travel
west on Hwy. #16 to the Morice River Forest Service Road. Turn
south (left) and follow it to the Morice West Forest Service Road.
Turn west (right) and travel along this road until you reach the
junction of the Morice River and Lamprey Creek (there is a 4 unit
BCFS campsite located here). Turn south (left) and follow the
Forest Service Road that parallels Lamprey Creek. This will lead
you to Collins Lake. By travelling further on you will reach McBride
Lake with a branch road leading west to Morice
Lake.

There are no campsites on the lake, however there is a 4 vehicle
BCFS campsite at Lamprey Creek and a 18 vehicle semi-open BCFS
campsite at beautiful Morice Lake, located west of Collins.

Report: Collins supports a Cutthroat fishery with trout
reaching into the 1+ lb. range. Be sure to visit Fishbc.com

Morice
Lake - contains Rainbows to 6+ lbs., Lake Char to 15+ lbs.
and Cutthroat up to 3 lbs. Trolling with spoons, plugs and spinning
gear is the most popular method used however Morice also has
a reputation as an excellent fly fishing lake. McBride Lake
is considered a good Cutthroat destination with trout reaching
up to 2 lbs. Lake Char also inhabit the lake and are reported
to reach up to 12 lbs. or better.
